Temple Newsam – October

Every time we go to Temple Newsam, we have a completely different experience. The seasons, the events and the vast expanse of land ensure that every time you visit you can choose a day out which suits your energy levels, child’s mood and any guests!

This time, we headed out for an Autumnal walk in late September. There were no events going on at the house, so after a relaxing local ale at the cafe, we wondered around the grounds, the gardens and then headed past the animals in walkway back to the car park.

Walking the dog and watching the ducks made a lovely morning walk and a great socialising opportunity as Little M is nicely distracted.

Summary

Temple Newsam should probably get 5 stars, but as we go so often and its so reliable and predictable, it also feels so familiar its taken for granted. If you want to meet friends, go for a walk, fly a kite, run around, see flowers, feed the ducks, if you have children, if you have parents, if you have friends… there is no reason not to go!
